Webjet iOS & Android

In 2015 Artisan Digital were approached to design new native applications for online travel company Webjet.


Webjet wanted to improve upon their current app offering and take it to the next level. In an evolving and competitive online space Webjet required design experts with extensive experience in high volume transactional mobile applications.

Today these apps are market leaders in class travel apps which routinely receive 5 star reviews in both the App Store and Play Store.

Our Approach


Our first mission was to work closely with Webjet to better understand the business and identify the key drivers behind the app. Webjet offer a significant range of products; from domestic and international travel to hotel and car bookings. By understanding what users are looking for in each of these products we were able to shape the UI to remove several pain points from the UX.

UX enhancements were adopted alongside a slick, new UI design in an attempt to quickly turnaround store ratings. Upon completion of phase 1, Webjet recorded a significant increase in bookings and positive feedback from customers. Artisan continue to collaborate with Webjet to evolve the apps with extended functionality and features to ensure that they remain the market leaders in the travel app space.

The Webjet apps have evolved to allow customers to not only access the best value flights and hotels, they can now leverage up to the minute flight tracking information, receive push notifications on personal trip details as well as integrations with native maps.
